Our newest Living Safer focuses on vaping among our nation’s youth. Vaping addiction and related lung illness have been at the top of national news recently, as U.S. health officials scramble to identify the cause of the fatal lung disease EVALI and other serious injuries amid hundreds of reports. More alarmingly, teens and young adults are being disproportionately impacted by the epidemic, and several lawsuits argue that JUUL Labs, Inc. intentionally hooked them on their products. “The Deadly Vaping Epidemic” takes a closer look at teen vaping, the public health crisis in our country, and JUUL’s alleged role in it.
Sharing useful, family-centric information is exactly why we are proud to publish Living Safer. At Milestone, we often work with families who have been deeply wronged by big corporations and have turned to us for help in moving forward after tragedy.
